Julia Stainer is the owner and event planner at Jules Marie Events. Before launching this unique venture, she worked at one of the busiest wedding venues in the area and often oversaw 3 weddings each weekend. Seeing the need for more customized and price-conscious events, she felt compelled to bring her skills to the region to address a greater variety of needs.
Aside from the dozens and dozens of weddings and events she has coordinated, her training and education has placed her in a very unique position. Her training and background includes fashion design, business management, theatrical stage management, and theatrical costume design. Julia explains that “Stage productions are very similar to weddings. They have the drama, the excitement, the organization, and the creativity to craft a fabulous experience for those in attendance. Best of all, it’s a real-life love story and not just a staged act that you would see in a production.”
When not behind the scenes of a wedding, she can be found in her sewing room whipping up her latest project, writing her heart out on paper, or spending time with her family and friends. She is an old-soul and quite the romantic… which is likely the reason why she is so passionate about crafting elegant, beautiful and memorable weddings.
